OBJETIVOS DE LA ASOCIACIÓN

LFK es en Letonia el principal instituto dedicado a la recopilación de folklore, su archivo, su publicación y su estudio.

¿CUÁL ES EL PERFIL DE LOS MIEMBROS QUE INTEGRAN LA ASOCIACIÓN: NARRADORES PROFESIONALES, NARRADORES ESPORÁDICOS, NARRADORES PRINCIPIANTES, PÚBLICO, INVESTIGADORES…? EN EL CASO DE TRATARSE DE UN PERFIL HETEROGÉNEO ESPECIFICAR DE QUÉ TIPO.

LFK es una institución que emplea a investigadores del folklore, algunos de los cuales participan en proyectos de narración oral. El doctor en filología Guntis Pakalns, cuentero amateur, que narra cuentos de hadas, historias de fantasmas, leyendas y anécdotas modernas, desde 1997 participa en la organización, documentación de proyectos de narración oral (certámenes de narradores para niños, cursos de narración, festivales regionales de cuenteros, participación de narradores en eventos sobre folclore…).

El filólogo Aldis Pütelis, es un narrador amateur con una larga experiencia como traductor de sesiones de narración oral del inglés al letón. La narración tradicional, que incluye situaciones contemporáneas en las que se cuentan historias, es estudiada por diversos investigadores: Dace Bula, Baiba Krogzeme-Mosgorda, Sandis Laime, Sanita Bērziņa-Reinsone, Guntis Pakalns.

¿TRABAJA EN EL ÁREA DE FORMACIÓN DE NUEVOS NARRADORES? EN CASO AFIRMATIVO, ¿EXISTE ALGUNA ESCUELA DE NARRADORES VINCULADA A LA ASOCIACIÓN?

G. Pakalns participa en diferentes cursos de narración oral como conferenciante y líder, y actúa como experto de la red de bibliotecas de narración oral de la UNESCO LNC. También algunos otros miembros del LFK participan como miembros del jurado en el certamen infantil de narración oral y anécdotas.

¿ES RESPONSABLE LA ASOCIACIÓN DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN DE ALGÚN FESTIVAL O CICLO DE NARRACIÓN ORAL? ¿CUÁL? ¿EN QUÉ FECHAS SE CELEBRA Y DÓNDE? EXPLICAR BREVEMENTE LAS CARACTERÍSTICAS BÁSICAS QUE DEFINEN AL FESTIVAL O CICLO.

G. Pakalns participa en la organización del festival de narración “Ziv zup” que se celebra desde 2007 en Kurzeme, al oeste de Letonia, y en la de otros festivales regionales, en redes de narradores y otros eventos de narración oral que involucran a colegas del LFK. 

¿COLABORA ACTUALMENTE CON ALGUNA OTRA ASOCIACIÓN EUROPEA? ¿CUÁL ES SU LÍNEA DE TRABAJO EN COMÚN?

G. Pakalns, de 2006 a 2008, participa como coordinador nacional en el proyecto Grundtvig2 El desarrollo de las habilidades narrativas en adultos, unaaproximación europea, en el que participan compañeros de Munich (Goldmund) y Glasgow (The Village Storytelling Centre). Colabora también de manera irregular con narradores de Estonia, Lituania, Alemania, Escocia, Cataluña, etc.

LFK is an institution employing folklore researchers, some of whom participate in storytelling projects.

Dr. philol. Guntis Pakalns: amateur storyteller, telling fairy-tales, ghost stories, modern legends and anecdotes, since1997 participates in organization, documentation, evaluation (storyteller contests for children from folklore groups, storyteller courses, regional storyteller festivals, participation of storytellers in folklore events, etc.) of storytelling projects.

Mag philol. Aldis Pūtelis: amateur storyteller, with a long-term experience in oral translation of storyteller performances (English-Latvian).

The traditional narratives, including contemporary telling situations, are studied by several researchers: Dace Bula, Baiba Krogzeme-Mosgorda, Sandis Laime, Sanita Bērziņa-Reinsone, Guntis Pakalns.

G. Pakalns participates in different storyteller courses in the capacity of a lecturer and course leader, acts as an expert of the UNESCO LNC network Storytelling Libraries. Also some other employees of LFK participate as the members of the jury in children storytelling and anecdote contests, etc.

G. Pakalns participates in organisation work of Kurzeme (western Latvia) storyteller festival “Ziv zup” (since 2007) and other regional festivals, storyteller networks and different other storytelling events, involving other colleagues of LFK.

G. Pakalns, in 2006-2008, participates as the national coordinator in the Grundtvig 2 project „The Development of Adult Storytelling skills – a European approach”, that involved partners from Munich (Goldmund) and Glasgow (The Village Storytelling Centre). There is collaboration though on irregular basis with storytellers from Estonia, Lithuania, Germany, Scotland, Catalonia, etc.

Guntis Pakalns, amatieris stāstnieks, stāsta pasakas, spoku stāstus, mūsdienu teikas un anekdotes, kopš 1997. gada piedalās stāstnieku projektu organizēšanā, dokumentēšanā, izvērtēšanā (stāstnieku konkursii bērniem no folkloras kopām, stāstnieku kursi, reģionālie stāstnieku festivāli, stāstnieku piedalīšanās folkloras pasākumos etc.).

Mag philol. Aldis Pūtelis – amatieris stāstnieks, ar ilga laika pieredzi stāstnieku mutvārdu tulkošanā (starp angļu un latviešu valodām).

Tradicionālos stāstījumus pēta vairāki zinātnieki, iekļaujot izpētē arī mūsdienu stāstīšanas situācijas (Dace Bula, Baiba Krogzeme-Mosgorda, Sandis Laime, Sanita Bērziņa-Reinsone, Guntis Pakalns etc.).
