OBJETIVOS DE LA ASOCIACIÓN
Acerca de BNS
La Red Sueca de Narración Oral, BNS, es una organización que sirve de paraguas y engloba a todo el movimiento sueco de narración oral. BNS es una organización sin ánimo de lucro y está gestionada por una junta directiva voluntaria. BNS admite
exclusivamente asociaciones, no personas a título individual. Las 27 asociaciones
miembro se encuentran situadas a lo largo y ancho de la geografía de todo el país, desde el norte hasta el sur.
Esto es lo que BNS hace:
▪ BNS organiza formación continuada para sus miembros.
▪ Reunión anual. Uno de los miembros asociados organiza la reunión anual donde
se realizan talleres de formación y entrenamiento, se trabaja en red y se intercambian experiencias.
▪ En la página web se pueden leer noticias y novedades de las asociaciones
miembro y todo aquello relacionado con la narración oral en Suecia y en el mundo
en general.
▪ La página web también incluye un calendario o agenda nacional donde todas las
organizaciones miembro comparten sus eventos de narración oral.
▪ BNS apoya a nuevos miembros asociados con experiencias sobre cómo emprender
nuevos eventos y cómo funciona una asociación.
El objetivo principal de BNS es, al mismo tiempo, la promoción de la tradición oral como la divulgación y puesta en valor de la narración oral contemporánea. BNS tiene también, como organización paraguas, una función de apoyo al movimiento de narradores orales suecos y de creación de redes para los mismos.
La reunión anual, asamblea donde se elige cada año la junta gestora, es el máximo
órgano de gobierno de la asociación. Coincidiendo con la reunión anual, tiene siempre lugar un gran evento de narración oral.

PROYECTOS EN MARCHA ACTUALMENTE
BNS tiene responsabilidad, como líder, en el concurso nacional de StorySlam.
¿Qué es StorySlam?
BNS organiza la final de StorySlam. Storyslam es una competición de narración oral muy divertida en la que cinco jueces, de entre el público, puntúan como si de patinaje artístico se tratara.
El narrador oral preparará dos historias que, entre ambas, no superen los 15 minutos, así como una historia de 5 minutos por si resultara ganador.
Cada red de narración oral de las diferentes regiones de Suecia coronará un ganador que más tarde competirá en la gran final que se celebrará en algún lugar organizado por uno de los miembros asociados.
La primera edición se celebró en 2005 y, desde entonces, se organiza cada año.
Durante el período 2008-2012, se celebró una competición europea con equipos
nacionales procedentes de Suecia, Noruega, Dinamarca, Finlandia, y el área sueco-
parlante de Finlandia.

Desde 2016 BNS dará una beca escolar a una organización que haga algo extraordinario.

About BNS
The Storytelling Network Sweden , BNS , is an umbrella organisation that brings together the Swedish storytelling movement. BNS is a non-profit organisation and is run by a volunteer board of directors. BNS organises only associations not individuals. The 27 member associations are situated all over the country , from north to south.
This is what BNS does:
▪ BNS organis es central training for its members.
▪ Annual meeting. A member association organizes the annual meeting once a year where we have the training , network and share experiences .
▪ On the website you can read about news of member associations and everything
related to storytelling in Sweden and the world.
▪ The website also includes a national calendar where all the member organisations market their storytelling events .
▪ BNS supports new member organis ations with expertise on how to start storytelling events and how to run an association. BNS primary purpose is both to promote the oral tradition and promoting awareness and dissemination of the oral storytelling. BNS has also, in their capacity as an umbrella organisation, a supportive and networking function for the Swedish storytellers movement where our member associations are included.
The annual meeting, where the board is elected annually, is the highest governing body of the association. In connection with the annual meeting always some kind of major storytelling event takes place.

BNS has overall responsibility as the head of the national contest of StorySlam
Storyslam The national final of Storyslam is organised by BNS.
Story Slam is a playful storytelling competition where five judges from the audience that are giving points like in figure skating. The storyteller shall prepare two stories all together 15 minutes + an eventually winner story on 5 minutes. Every storytelling network in the different regions of Sweden will crown a winner that later will go to the final that will be somewhere in Sweden arranged by a member organisation of BNS.
The first Story Slam event started 2005 and goes on every year
During the years 2008 - 2012 we even had a European competition with national teams from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland & Swedish speaking area of Finland

• att fungera som kontaktnät för alla typer av organisationer som är intresserade av, samt aktivt arbetar för det muntliga berättandet.

rättandet i dess olika tillämpningar.
