I am Dani Borrón, a storyteller and audiovisual filmmaker. Together with Nieves Perez, I have been part of “Borrón y cuento nuevo” since 1997.

We are very different. Our tastes and paths set us apart. What brings us together is laughter and storytelling.

We tell stories together. And without your ears, our stories would not exist.

Over the years we have taken our stories all across Spain, performing in libraries, festivals, cultural centers, museums, café-theaters, schools, and all kinds of places where someone is willing to listen to a story. During this time we have also taken part in many storytelling gatherings and festivals.

Besides telling stories, we also enjoy sharing the craft. Since 2000 we have been leading storytelling workshops, accompanying others in discovering the spoken word and the pleasure of telling stories.

Stories have become essential in our lives. Since then they have walked with us, and we have grown with them. We tell stories because we enjoy sharing the living word. Because when we listen, we discover stories… and we discover ourselves. Every answer opens a new question. And we keep going.
