OBJETIVOS DE LA ASOCIACIÓN

El objetivo de la red es revitalizar la tradición de narración oral como parte importante del patrimonio cultural intangible y como una habilidad social. 

Los objetivos de la red de Bibliotecas de Narración Oral son los siguientes: 

–Promover experiencias que se comparten entre las bibliotecas de la red a través de la recopilación de información, y que estudian el patrimonio local. 

–Mejorar el conocimiento metodológico a través del mantenimiento, la preservación y el desarrollo de la tradición oral. 

–Promover la mejora de las habilidades narrativas personales de los participantes en la red y el estudio de la diversidad del patrimonio local, en especial del patrimonio de Letonia, así como el intercambio de experiencias, interactuando con la comunidad local. 

ÁREAS ESPECÍFICAS DE LA NARRACIÓN ORAL EN LAS QUE SE INCIDE

Las bibliotecas pueden escoger los procesos, las materias, los formatos y el público de sus eventos que más les convenga. Varios de los eventos y actividades organizados por estas bibliotecas se centran en descubrir e investigar el patrimonio local, creando ambientes adecuados para la comunicación entre los miembros de la comunidad, y promoviendo el diálogo intergeneracional y el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales, especialmente en los niños.

¿CUÁL ES EL PERFIL DE LOS MIEMBROS QUE INTEGRAN LA ASOCIACIÓN: 

NARRADORES PROFESIONALES, NARRADORES ESPORÁDICOS, NARRADORES PRINCIPIANTES, PÚBLICO, INVESTIGADORES…? EN EL CASO DE TRATARSE DE UN PERFIL HETEROGÉNEO ESPECIFICAR DE QUÉ TIPO.

La red es un tipo especial de cooperación y de experiencia. En ella se comparte información procedente de diferentes bibliotecas de Letonia en las que existe una gran cantidad de actividades dedicadas a la tradición oral. Su finalidad es la de promover la educación no formal a través de la narración oral como parte de nuestro patrimonio cultural inmaterial.

TRABAJA EN EL ÁREA DE FORMACIÓN DE NUEVOS NARRADORES? EN CASO 

AFIRMATIVO, ¿EXISTE ALGUNA ESCUELA DE NARRADORES VINCULADA A LA ASOCIACIÓN?

Cada año la UNESCO LNC organiza varios seminarios de educación no formal, talleres y una escuela de verano donde los narradores de las bibliotecas comparten su experiencia. Además, mejoran sus técnicas como narradores y trabajan con la comunidad local descubriendo allí nuevos cuenteros. 

¿ES RESPONSABLE LA ASOCIACIÓN DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN DE ALGÚN FESTIVAL O CICLO DE NARRACIÓN ORAL? ¿CUÁL? ¿EN QUÉ FECHAS SE CELEBRA Y DÓNDE? EXPLICAR BREVEMENTE LAS CARACTERÍSTICAS BÁSICAS QUE DEFINEN AL FESTIVAL O CICLO.

Como ya se dijo, la red de bibliotecas organiza eventos regulares dedicados al estudio del patrimonio y de la tradición cuentística. Además UNESCO LNC se ha involucrado en la organización de tres festivales de narración oral en regiones históricas de Letonia: 

- El festival de narración oral Kurzeme. En 2016 se celebrará la décima edición del festival. 

–El festival de narración oral Zemgale. En 2016 se celebrará la quinta edición del festival. 

–El festival de narración oral Vidzeme. En 2016 se celebrará la segunda narración del festival. 

–En 2016 se planea organizar el primer festival de narración oral de Latgale. 

¿COLABORA ACTUALMENTE CON ALGUNA OTRA ASOCIACIÓN EUROPEA? ¿CUÁL ES SU LÍNEA DE TRABAJO EN COMÚN?

UNESCO LNC colabora con varias organizaciones europeas y de otros lugares. La Red de Bibliotecas ha participado en el proyecto Grand Treasures dentro del programa de aprendizaje para toda la vida GRUNDTVIG Learning Partnerships en el marco de referencia de la Unión Europea (2011-2013). El proyecto de cooperación se desarrolla con las siguientes organizaciones: Centrum Inicjatyw UNESCO (Poland), Antaxurada S.L. (Spain), Media dell’ Arte (Greece), Kultuur aitab hingata (Estonia), “Associação Cultural e Pedagógica Ponte... nas ondas!” (Portugal). También existe una colaboración fructífera con narradores como Susana Tornero, Colin MCallister y otros.

ORGANIZATION´S OBJECTIVES

The aim of the Network is to vitalize the tradition of storytelling as an important part of intangible cultural heritage and social skill.

Objectives of the network of “Storytelling Libraries” are the following:

-to promote experience sharing among the libraries of the Network in gathering information, studying the local heritage and provision of accessibility to the information;

-to improve the methodological knowledge in maintaining, preserving and developing the tradition of storytelling;

-to promote the improvement of personal storytelling skills of the participants involved in the Network, the knowledge on activities of the UNESCO and the heritage in Latvia, as well as the exchange of experience interacting with the local community in the promotion of intergenerational dialogue and studying the diversity of the local heritage.

STORYTELLING AREAS APPROACHED

Libraries can choose the most suitable process, topics, formats and target audiences of their events. Various events and activities organized by these libraries are focused on discovering and researching the local heritage, creating suitable environment for communication of its local community members, as well as promoting intergenerational dialog and developing social skills especially for children.

The network is a special cooperation and experience sharing platform of Latvian libraries, wherein a wide range of activities dedicated to the cultural heritage and the tradition of storytelling are implemented, in order to promote informal education in the field of heritage through storytelling as a significant part of intangible cultural heritage

DOES THE ORGANIZATION FORM NEW STORYTELLERS? IF YES, IS THERE A SCHOOL VINCULATED TO YOUR ORGANIZATION?

Every year UNESCO LNC organizes various informal educational seminars, workshops and summer school where storytellers from libraries are sharing their experience in order to improve individual methodology of storytelling and working with local community (finding new local storytellers).

DO YOU ORGANIZE ANY FESTIVALS OR STORYTELLING EVENT? NAME

IT. DATES. SHORTLY EXPLAIN THE BASIC ASPECTS OF THE FESTIVAL OR EVENT.

Within the network libraries organize regular events dedicated to studying the heritage and storytelling tradition in the library or outside its premises. UNESCO LNC has been involved in organizing 3 storytelling festivals (in historical regions of Latvia):

-Kurzeme’s Storytelling festival (in 2016 will be the 10th festival).

-Zemgale’s Storytelling festival (in 2016 will be the 5th festival).

-Vidzeme’s Storytelling festival ((in 2016 will be the 2nd festival).

-In 2016 it is planned to organize the 1st Latgale’s Storytelling festival as well.

DO YOU COLLABORATE WITH ANY OTHER EUROPEAN ORGANIZATION?

UNESCO LNC is collaborating with various organizations in Europe (and other regions). The Network has been involved in “Grand treasures” project within the framework of European Union lifelong learning programme GRUNDTVIG sub-programme “Learning Partnerships” (2011-2013). Within the project cooperation was developed with following organizations: Centrum Inicjatyw UNESCO (Poland), Antaxurada S.L. (Spain), Media dell’ Arte (Greece), Kultuur aitab hingata (Estonia), “Associação Cultural e Pedagógica Ponte... nas ondas!” (Portugal). There has been a fruitful cooperation with individual storytellers too, for example, Susana Tornero, Colin MCallister and others.

WHAT COMMON OBJECTIVES ARE THERE FOR THE COLLABORATION?

It is planned that UNESCO LNC will provide the functioning of the Network in the future as well.

Tīkla mērķis ir iedzīvināt stāstīšanas tradīciju kā nozīmīgu nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma daļu un sociālu prasmi.

Tīkla „Stāstu bibliotēkas” uzdevumi ir:

-veicināt tīkla bibliotēku pieredzes apmaiņu lokālā mantojuma apzināšanai, izpētei un informācijas pieejamības nodrošināšanai;

-pilnveidot metodiskas zināšanas stāstīšanas tradīcijas uzturēšanā, saglabāšanā un attīstībā;

-veicināt tīklā iesaistīto dalībnieku individuālo stāstīšanas prasmju pilnveidi, zināšanas par UNESCO darbību un mantojumu Latvijā, pieredzes apmaiņu darbam ar vietējo kopienu starppaaudžu dialoga veicināšanā un lokālā mantojuma apzināšanā.

Īstenojot stāstu pasākumus, bibliotēkas var izvēlēties atbilstošu pieeju, tēmas, formātus un mērķa grupas. Daudzveidīgas aktivitātes un pasākumi, ko organizē bibliotēkas, tiek rīkoti ar mērķi izzināt vietējo mantojumu, veidot atbilstošu vidi komunikācijai ar vietējās kopienas pārstāvjiem, kā arī veicināt starpkultūru dialogu un attīstīt sociālās prasmes īpaši bērniem.

Tīkls ir īpaša Latvijas bibliotēku sadarbības un pieredzes apmaiņas platforma, kuras ietvaros tiek īstenotas plaša tematiskā loka kultūras mantojumam un stāstniecības tradīcijai veltītas aktivitātes, ar mērķi veicināt neformālo izglītību mantojuma jomā caur stāstniecību kā nozīmīgu nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma daļu.

Tīkla ietvaros bibliotēku telpās un ārpus tām tiek regulāri organizēti mantojuma izpētei un stāstniecības tradīcijai veltīti pasākumi. UNESCO LNK ir līdzdarbojusies 3 festivālu organizēšanā (Latvijas vēsturiskajos novados):

-Kurzemes stāstnieku festivāls (2016. gadā notiks 10.festivāls);

-Zemgales stāstnieku festivāls (2016. gadā notiks 5.festivāls);

-Vidzemes stāstnieku festivāls (2016. gadā notiks 2. festivāls);

-2016. gadā plānots rīkots arī pirmo Latgales stāstnieku festivālu.

UNESCO LNK sadarbojas ar dažādām organizācijām Eiropā (un citos reģionos). Tīkls no 2011. - 2013. gadam bija iesaistīts “Grand treasures” projektā, kas tika īstenots Eiropas Savienības Mūžizglītības programmas GRUNDTVIG apakšprogrammas Mācību partnerības ietvaros.
